WTB - WILDERNESS TRAIL BIKES

WTB is a small but well-known mountain bike brand that has been successful in the bike industry for 40 years. I am currently working with their director of marketing to create various print products and evolve the new packaging style into merchandising signage to be used in a variety of diverse retail settings.

PETSMART

In my role as a freelance designer for PetSmart, I worked with their digital product content manager to create PDP carousel images for over 400 SKUs. PetSmart’s goal for this project was to create engaging, educational and visually dynamic images that tell the story of their branding, one image at a time. These images deliver information like: what the product does, how it is intended to be used, and why their product is worth the price tag.

I had the pleasure of working with several of their in-house brands including Thrive, Top Paw, Whisker City and Joyhound. For each of these brands, I designed images that successfully meet the goal of educating the buyer while maintaining interest and engagement. Each brand is unique and integrating the voice and brand maintains a sense of belonging for the target audience.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

“Since working with Jacquie in the scope of digital graphic design for PDP carousel images – I sincerely appreciate her ability to pivot quickly between jobs, that she always provides options in the forefront of each project to help land the design system, and she’s able to juggle multiple projects at once. She was able to swiftly interpret store-facing brand guidelines into the digital realm and I am extremely happy with all the work she has been able to do for the digital strategy at PetSmart.”

LEVITASBIO

LevitasBio is a startup in the Bay Area selling products that take a new approach to cellular analysis. They enable researchers to rescue and achieve higher quality and quantity of cells.

As a freelance designer for LevitasBio, I designed and developed a nurture program in Hubspot for their subscribers. We created eight emails and landing pages that educated their existing customers about their products and the benefits of working with LevitasBio. I developed a particular cohesive look, inspired by their branding, including an animated gif - used only for the headers of this campaign’s emails.

DENVER ZOO CONSERVATION ALLIANCE

In my role as graphic designer for Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance, I was responsible for design, production and project management of over 700 projects a year for various departments across the zoo including Marketing, Public Relations, Development and Education. Acted as a staff photographer and assisted with art direction for a complete rebrand of the zoo.

I completed design and production for promotional materials, event and exhibit signage, ticketing, member magazine, interactive PDFs for a complete online curriculum, annual reports, product packaging and stationery. I designed and developed microsites and emails for various events.

BRANDING & IDENTITY

Branding and identity is a unique blend of creativity, strategy, and impact that you don’t always get with other projects. Crafting visual identities that encapsulate a brand’s essence, values, and messaging while still creating a cohesive and memorable image that resonates with audiences is what creates the ultimate challenge. This work provides the opportunity to work on a holistic level, considering how every visual element—from logos and typography to color schemes and imagery—works together to tell a brand’s story. This process not only challenges my artistic skills but also requires strategic thinking and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer psychology.

As a results-driven designer, I find a lot of satisfaction in branding projects since they offer significant influence on a brand’s success and visibility. It’s always particularly exciting to hear feedback from clients that your work is making a difference in their lives and business!
